The Differences Between Normal Tape Ins and Invisible Tape Ins

The differences between normal tape ins and invisible tape ins

Have you noticed that there are now various types of tape used in extensions? Do you know what the distinction is between them? Do you know which type of tape in extensions has the highest quality? After reading this article, you will understand the distinctions.

What is regular tape in hair extensions?

Tape in hair extensions are thin tape wefts with a width of about 0.8-1cm and a length of about 4cm or 1 strip of 1m long depending on the customer’s needs. Tape-in extensions are hair extensions that are glued with medical-grade adhesive. To keep the hair extension in place, use replaceable double-sided tape spread as an adhesive. The tape can be reused and cut into smaller pieces as needed. As a result, it is very useful and simple to employ.

What is invisible tape in hair extensions?

Invisible (seamless weft extensions and invisible tape) tape-in extensions are a kind of tape-ins. There are some differences between it and regular tape in the manufacturing process. Injection technology is used to create seamless inject tape in hair extension, in which individual hairs are injected into the PU weft of the tape. As a result, it does not have short hair on top. More inconspicuous and seamless.

This technology is far superior to standard tape ins production technology. It appears that hair is growing from our scalp after the installation of injection tape in extensions.

First, tape-in extensions have a lifespan of up to a year and can be used in three to four different ways. Reusing hair extensions is a huge benefit, especially if they were cut or colored specifically for you. It’s worth a shot because high-quality tape extensions can be reused.

Second, the hair is unharmed. Tape-in extensions are safe for your natural hair because they are attached to it with a tape strand. As the wefts are applied row by row, your natural hair is sandwiched in between them. As a result, no tools or chemicals, such as microbeads or sewn-in weaves, stress or harm it.

Some people, however, are concerned that the attachments will be visible and that everyone will notice you are wearing extensions. It is the only disadvantage of regular tape. Normal tape-in extensions are more visible at the top of the extension if they are placed closer to the top of the hair. Furthermore, as new hair develops or grows, the extensions may slip on your hair.

The invisible tape is very simple to use. Tape-in Vietnamese hair extensions are as comfortable as you can imagine. They are designed to be lightweight, so they will not irritate you even if you wear them all day.

This type of tape is ideal for people with thin hair. People with thin hair use hair extensions to boost their confidence because the tape is translucent by design and thus blends in well.

The invisible tape allows you to confidently style your hair while wearing hair extensions is impossible. This is not true of undetectable Vietnamese hair tape-in extensions. Because the tape is secure and unnoticeable, you can style your hair as usual.

How to Apply tape in extensions?

  1. Part a section at the back of the head, tie up the rest hair.
  2. Remove the paper from the hair. Lift the hair and apply one piece under the parted section.
  3. Attach another hairpiece directly above so the two meet and press.
  4. Press the hairpieces firmly into place, using pliers is better.

How to care tape in extensions?

There are a few ways to care for your tape.

+ Wash your hair after 72 hours after installation.

+ To avoid tangles, it is best to braid your hair into a whip before going to bed.

+ Brush your hair many times each day with a damp brush or a brush made specifically for hair extensions. You should brush from top to bottom.

+ Before shampooing your hair extensions, be sure you brush them, BUT don’t brush your hair when it’s wet

+ When washing your hair, avoid applying conditioner to the replacement tape, as this will cause the film to fall off, and gently massage it up and down, use more conditioner, and apply essential oil or coconut oil.

+You should try to keep your hair dry naturally after washing it.

+The hair extension will need to be reapplied every 6 to 10 weeks to bring the bond points closer to the scalp and keep the hair healthy.

If properly cared for, standard tape can last 3-4 years. It is less difficult to put in and take out than weave hair. Regular tape-in extensions, on the other hand, are more visible at the top of the extension. Invisible tape is thinner and more visible in extensions. It is also easier to conceal in natural hair. It is, however, more expensive than standard tape.
